LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - A Lufkin man and Pollok man have been arrested and charged with raping a woman in a Lufkin apartment complex.
According to an arrest affidavit, a woman said she had talked to one of the suspects about going out Tuesday night with a group of friends. The woman went to an apartment at Silver Creek Apartments and met up with three men, including Arthur Emmit "Trey" Derbonne, 20, of Lufkin, and Benjamin Tyrel O'Quinn, 20, of Pollok, thinking more would show up later.
The affidavit states the woman waited at the apartment and at 10:30 p.m., O'Quinn picked up the woman and placed her on a bed. She said she at first thought he was joking with her until he began pulling her shorts off. The woman said she said, "Stop it is not going to happen," but O'Quinn continued pulling her shorts down, the affidavit states.
Derbonne then knocked on the door and walked in, according to the affidavit.
"Jane Doe said Benjamin briefly stopped and she pulled her shorts back on. Jane Doe advised that Emmet Derbonne then took his clothes off approached her and held her down," the affidavit states.
According to the affidavit, both men took turns raping the woman and forcing her to give them oral sex.
Both men were booked into the Angelina County Jail on charges of aggravated sexual assault and assault.
