LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - Two students were arrested Friday afternoon at an East Texas middle school on drug-related charges.
Longview Police said the resource officer at Forest Park Magnet School in Longview made the arrest after the school administration learned that there were drugs on campus.
"From all appearances it was found [and] it was dealt with very quickly," said Kevin Brownlee, with the Longview PD. "The right thing happened. If juveniles bring narcotics to school, they're going to be arrested. They're going to be charged. That's the bottom line."
One of the students was charged with possession of a controlled substance. The other was charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance.
Their names and ages have not been released.
