Update #3 09/17/2010
The third suspect has been identified as Traevon Marlon Ray, B/M, 08/29/1991, of Tyler. Tyler Police have been unable to locate the suspect. A warrant has been issued for his arrest for Aggravated Robbery. If you have any information about his whereabouts please contact the Tyler Police Department or call Tyler-Smith County Crime-Stoppers.
Update #2 09/15/2010
On September 15, 2010 Tyler Police Investigators arrested a second suspect involved in the Home Invasion Robbery. The suspect was identified as Torriunte Jacoby Pollard, B/M, 05/08/1990, of Tyler. Bond was set at $150,000.00. Investigators are still attempting to identify other suspects involved in the incident.

Update #1 09/14/2010
On September 14, 2010 Tyler Police Investigators were able to identify suspects in the home invasion. Judge Christi Kennedy issued an arrest warrant for Channing Javier House on a charge of aggravated robbery. Judge Kennedy set bond at $150,000.00. Investigators arrested Channing Javier House, black male, born on November 19, 1992 pursuant to the arrest warrant issued by Judge Kennedy. Investigators anticipate additional arrests in this case. Home Invasion at Local Apartment
On September 13, 2010 at approximately 11:32 p.m. the Tyler Police Department received an emergency telephone call regarding a Robbery that just occurred at 1600 Rice Road (Dovetree Apartments). As officers arrived on scene they were informed that the suspects were three black males and that they had fled the area in an unknown direction. At this time several officers checked the immediate area for any possible suspects while the remaining officers contacted and checked the welfare of the victims.
While speaking with the victims, officers learned the suspects had forced their way into the victims' apartment, believing a friend was knocking at their door. The victims, whose names are presently being withheld, stated the suspects were armed with a handgun and threatened to harm them should they call the police. The suspects rummaged through the apartment and took an undisclosed amount of property before fleeing the apartment.
The victims described the suspects as being between 18 and 21 years of age with bandanas covering their faces. The victims were not injured as a result of the incident and detectives from the Tyler Police Department's Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene. The case remains under investigation.
