Tyler Police Put Up Reward Money In Homicide Case

It's been four days since Stephen Tillman (24) was found dead inside his North Tyler home. Investigators hoping to generate leads in the case are now offering a $1,000 reward for anyone who has information that could lead to an arrest.

A neighbor found Tillman dead last Thursday, inside his home on the 1700 block of North Tenneha. While authorities haven't determined an exact cause of death, police say Tillman appeared to have an assault wound to his head.

"We just hope this money (we're offering) will encourage someone to call in -- and come forward with information that we may not have yet," said Detective Wayne Thomas.

If you have information on the Tillman case, you can call the Tyler Police Department or Smith County/Tyler Crimestoppers.
