You're walking on train tracks over a river, when you suddenly see an oncoming train... You can't make it back to the bank. Your only option.... jump.
That's the decision two Kilgore girls had to make today. The two teens suffered broken bones and other injuries, as they were forced to jump off the Sabine River train bridge just off Highway 31 around 3:30 today. Train employees called police, telling them the two girls were walking over the bridge when they turned, and realizing that they could not get off it in time, jumped off a 30 foot drop, landing on the banks of the river. Both teens where hospitalized with reported non-life threatening injuries.
