TYLER, TX - On 08-29-2010, at approximately 8:42 p.m., the Tyler Police Department received a call of an armed robbery at the Quality Inn, located at 2843 West Northwest Loop 323. The desk clerk called to report that a male had robbed the business using a handgun.

The suspect had fled the scene prior to officers' arrival.
