TYLER, TX (KLTV) - Max loves basketball and going to church. Now, he needs a forever family to stick with him through the game of life.

The 10 year old boy is very active and loves sports. His favorite of them all is basketball.

"[I like to] play catch and sing," he said.

Max says he loves to sing Amazing Grace. Church is a big part of Max's life and enjoys participating in all the children's activities.

When it comes to school, Max does really well. His favorite subject is Language Arts. His least favorite is Math.

When Max grows up he would like to be basketball player, rapper or football player. Sounds like he already likes the spotlight!

"[I would like to] go to New York and maybe be rich and have a lot of video games," said Max.

He will need to continue counseling to help him transition from foster care into adoption. Despite spending a majority of his life in foster care, and enduring several disappointments, Max is resilient and eager to be adopted.

"I want to be in a family that has little kids and not big kids because sometimes the big kids are not good to hang out with," he said.

It is going to take a family that is willing to commit to him 100%. Max needs a forever family that can stick with him through the long haul and show him the gift of love.
