LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - The Angelina County Sheriff's Office is charging a 17-year-old Lufkin man with having a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl.
Jessie Christopher Fetzer, 17, is also charged with burglarizing a home in the northeastern part of Angelina County and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
According to an arrest affidavit, Fetzer was arrested in Tarrant County, apparently for a burglary offense. A 13-year-old girl, who had run away from home, was with him. The girl gave a statement that she had sexual relations ever since their second date several months ago, the affidavit stated. It also said the girl suspected she might be pregnant.
The investigator learned Fetzer was in the Dallas area while investigating a burglary on the 100 block of Tom Taylor Avenue. According to the affidavit, a man said he heard a noise on the night of July 27 and checked on it. Thinking it was his cat, he went back to bed.
The next morning he said he found a window to the back bedroom had been forced open and multiple items were taken from his home, including electronics, cameras, rifles and a shotgun.
The affidavit states the investigating officer learned from a witness that Fetzer broke into the house and had taken the property to the Dallas area. An officer in that area then stated he had recovered property that matched what was stolen in Angelina County.
Fetzer is also charged with taking his mother's car without her permission on July 28. When the car was recovered, the right passenger mirrors was broken and a tire was blown out.
Fetzer was booked into the Angelina County Jail Tuesday night. A bond has not been set.
