LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - It looks like foul play may be involved in the case of a body found Monday in an East Texas home.
Longview Police responded to a call Monday afternoon in the 1400 block of Booker Street.
Police found the body of an adult man in the home, but they are not releasing his name, or how he died.
Neighbors and friends who had gathered outside the home said that he was well-respected in the neighborhood.
"He was a good man," said Billy Hollins, a longtime friend. "He was free-hearted. He'd give you anything you want, and nobody knows why they killed him."
"He got along with everybody," said Sandra Johnson, a former sister-in-law. "You can see a lot of people are out here now, and they're all supporting him."
Police will notify the man's family before they release his name.
