It's a snap

SAN ANTONIO, TX (KLTV) -   He's in the center of the action for some of the biggest plays during a game.  But you probably have no idea who Louis Philippe LaDouceur is.

He's the cowboys long snapper and he's become one of the best in the business.  Long snapping may not seem like a big deal, but no punts or field goals can happen without a clean snap.

"Whenever people recognize him is when he has a bad snap," said Cowboys Kicker David Buehler.  "He just does his job so well people don't notice him. I think he's the best in the business. He's a pro who goes in everyday. I don't think I've ever seen him do a bad snap."

The job has helped LaDouceur stay in the N.F.L. for the last six year.  He wasn't dreaming about this gig as a kid.

"Never did," LaDouceur said with a laugh.  "I always thought I would be a defensive lineman or a tight end. But then when I realized I was good at this and people were telling me you have a good shot to make the league as a long snapper, I was like really?"

Now he's too good to cut.
