TYLER, TX (KLTV) - Joseph, 14, is laid back, loves spicy food and playing video games. Now, all he needs is a forever family to help him navigate the teenage years.
It was an afternoon of pizza and games - two of Joseph's favorite things to do! He says he also likes cheeseburgers, spicy Cajun food and anything with jalapenos!
Joseph is out of school for the summer and is already looking forward to starting his freshman year in the fall.
"My favorite is history and my least favorite is science," he said.
Joseph makes all A's and B's at school and wants to be a police investigator when he grows up, solving crime scenes.
"I'm taking an investigator class this year in high school," said Joseph.
He is very laid back and easy to talk to. He is also active and likes the outdoors.
"In my free time, I mostly talk to friends, and we just ride bicycles and have fun and stuff," he said.
A family who likes to do things outdoors and go places would be good match. Joseph said he does not care if he lives in the city or country.
"[I love to] go fishing, have animals," he said. "I love animals."
Although parental rights have been terminated, Joseph has been able to maintain contact with his grandmother, great-grandmother and his siblings. He would like to stay in touch with them even after being adopted. Joseph also says it is difficult to explain to his friends that he does not have a family like they do.
"I would love to be with somebody that would call me a family be with a family," said Joseph. "That's what I would love to have."
A family of his very own to show him the gift of love.
