Mavericks Prepare for Game 4 Without Big Guns

The Mavericks dropped game 3 at home to fall behind 2-1 in the best of seven series on Friday night. More than losing the game they may have lost Dirk Nowitzki and center Shawn Bradley for the remainder of the series.

Nowitzki hurt his left knee on Friday night. The MRI showed a sprain to the ligaments that hold the kneecap in place, but no structural damage. He is will not play in game 4, but team physicians hope he could return for a game 5 or 6.

An MRI showed that Shawn Bradley's right knee had a sprained medial collateral ligament. That means that Dallas will head into game 4 with Raef LaFrentz, Eduardo Najera, and Adrian Griffin as there only big men available. Game 4 Tips off at 7:30 on TNT.
