Fugitive Back in Gregg County Custody

A man wanted on charges of intoxication manslughter is back in East Texas custody, after being a fugitive from justice for over 2 years.

39 year old Nick Adams disappeared in June of 2001, the day a jury was being seated for his trial. He was charged with intoxication manslaughter and failure to stop and render aid, for an April 2001 car wreck in Gladewater, where a 2 year old girl was killed.

Adams was arrested in Meunster, Texas a week ago and is also charged with failure to appear. His bond was raised to 3 million dollars.
