LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - Some east Texas school districts are citing electronic errors after receiving less than stellar ratings from the state.

Officials at Longview and Pine Tree ISD say they plan to challenge state ratings because of coding errors. Longview and three of its 13 schools - Longview high school, Foster middle school and Ware elementary school, were rated academically unacceptable in Friday's TEA report

Pine Tree ISD was rated an academically acceptable school district, but officials believe mis-coding corrections should lead to an improved score.
