The couple that was brutally murdered in their home, allegedly by a neighbor, has been laid to rest.
Hundreds of people turned out Wednesday in Lovelady to pay their last respects to Nathan and Annette Copeland.
One week after the killings, friends and neighbors say they are still in shock over the murders.
The Copeland's 14-year-old son, Cody, who was wounded in the shooting was released from the hospital Tuesday just in time to attend the funeral.
His 10-year-old sister, Courtney, was also there. During the shooting she was able to escape injury by hiding inside the home.
Barney Fuller Junior, a neighbor of the Copeland family, is charged with capital murder in the case.
He remains in the Houston County Jail on 1.5 million dollar bond.
