TYLER, TX (KLTV) - Three have been arrested for the July 20th home invasion in the 3000 block of Garden Valley Road. Gunfire was exchanged resulting in a bullet wound to a resident.
Tyler Police are looking at several other recent home invasions and robberies these same suspects may have committed.
The suspects taken into custody are Cortnie Hubbard, 23, Brandon Caddell, 27, and Kentrell Jennings, 19, all from Tyler. They have been charged with Aggravated Robbery.
Police are looking for a fourth suspect, Mandisa Jones, 18, who they say was driving the getaway car. The car has been seized as evidence.
One of the suspects, Cortnie Hubbard, was shot in the arm but did not seek medical attention.
"There are similarities that other robberies have occurred with three black males," said Officer Don Martin, with Tyler PD. "So we don't know if they are the specific ones. We are certainly looking into that. They're targeting people that may have illicit drugs. There may be some bootlegging - some type of illegal activity."
Police are investigating to determine if the suspects were involved in the July 12th assault and robbery of a man walking in the 900 block of East Locust Street, Monday's Aggravated Robbery at the Timbers Apartment Complex on South Broadway, and Tuesday's Armed Robbery at the Tanglewood Apartments on Chimney Rock.
Hubbard was arrested at his girlfriend's apartment at 2700 North Grand where he was found to be in possession of cocaine. He was also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Criminal Trespass. Caddell was taken in at 1404 West Claude at his apartment, and Jennings at the Tyler Police Department while being questioned by investigators.
If you have any information about this case or if you have seen Mandisa Jones, call the Tyler Police.
