Tyler Police ID and arrest CVS Pharmacy robbery suspect

TYLER, TX (KLTV) - Released by the Tyler Police Department:

UPDATE 07/27/10 - TYLER, TX - Tyler Police Department received information from Tyler Smith-County CrimeStoppers on the identity of the suspect involved in the CVS Pharmacy Robbery. Investigators located the suspect who is identified as Jerry Craig Jr, B/M, 01/01/1978, of Tyler. Craig submitted to a voluntary arrest to investigators and was booked into Smith County Jail.

UPDATE 07/20/10 - TYLER, TX - Tyler Police need your help in identifying the suspect involved in the robbery of CVS on July 3, 2010. If you recognize this suspect please contact the Tyler Police Department or call Crime-Stoppers.

On 07-03-2010, shortly after 3:30 a.m., Tyler Police responded to the CVS Pharmacy located at 1702 South Broadway Avenue on the report of a robbery. Officers arrived and spoke to employees at the scene. They told officers that an unknown male approached the sales counter and told them he had a gun. He then fled the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of merchandise.

The suspect is described as a tall black male, possibly bald, wearing a white polo-style shirt and black pants. He was last seen heading eastbound on foot.
