It was a real interactive classroom at one Longview school as kids got a chance to portray famous historical figures. It was called the living wax museum presentation, at the Christian Heritage School of Longview. The assignment for the junior high students was to research famous historical figures. They then had to act as a statue. If their bell was rung, they could move and begin portraying their character. The school hopes it will become an annual event to encourage kids to enjoy and investigate history.
