Autopsy Confirms Murder of Two Boys, Accused Mother Remains on Suicide Watch

Early autopsy results are back on two of the three children allegedly killed by their mother in New Chapel Hill.

The two oldest children, 8-year-old Joshua Laney, and 6-year-old Luke died from blunt force trauma. Meanwhile, 15-month-old Aaron Laney is in critical condition at a Dallas hospital. His condition has stabilized.

The funeral for Josh and Luke will be this Saturday, May 17th. It will be at the Lloyd James Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. The boys will be buried at the Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery.

Their mother, 41-year old Deanna Laney is suspected of beating the three boys with large rocks at the family home late Friday night.

She remains in the Smith County Jail on 24-hour suicide watch.
