Mavs Lead Series 3-2

   Raja Bell sparked a third-quarter surge and Dallas grabbed a 3-to-2 lead in the conference semifinals by whipping Sacramento 112-to-93. Bell scored nine of his 13 points while the Mavericks were outscoring the Kings 29-to-10 in the third period. Bell hit four baskets in the quarter, one more than the Kings. Steve Nash led six Mavs in double figures with 25 points, going 15-of-16 from the line. Nick Van Exel came off the bench to get 18 points, two more than Michael Finley and Dirk Nowitzki. Nowitzki also had 15 rebounds and nine assists. Doug Christie paced the Kings with 21 points and Peja Stojakovic added 19 on 33-percent shooting. None of the other Sacramento starters had more than 13 points. Game six is Thursday in Sacramento.

    UT Tyler softball head coach Mike Reed is on the verge on picking up his 600th career win. But, he will have to wait until the Patriots weekend series against Concordia to possible celebrate.  The 600th win had a chance of happening on Suddenlink Field this afternoon, however mother nature had a different idea raining out Wednesday's game with Birmingham Southern.  UT Tyler will face off with Concordia at 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 31.  Copyright 2017...More >>

    They may have falling short in their quest to claim a spot in the NCAA national tournament, but the TCU Horned Frogs have made the most of their time in the National Invitation Tournament.   After beating University of Central Florida 68-53, TCU is headed to the NIT title game on Thursday against Georgia Tech.  The game will air on ESPN at 7:00 p.m..  The Frogs are 25-17 on the season entering this match-up.   Copyright 2017 KLTV.
