DALLAS, TX (KTRE) - Dallas Police officers have apprehended a Hemphill woman accused in the death of a toddler.
According to the Sabine County Sheriff's Office, Dequahna Taylor, 34, was arrested at around 10 a.m. Tuesday. Details on the apprehension were not immediately available.
Taylor is charged with capital murder in her stepdaughter's death. According to previous reports, Taylor brought 22-month-old Detyreunna Price into a Sabine County hospital in May with bite marks, burn marks, belt marks and severe head trauma. She died a few days later at a Houston hospital.
