LINDALE, TX (KLTV) - LINDALE, TX (KLTV) - More students, means more work for another East Texas school district, even during summer break.
Tuesday morning, Lindale ISD broke some ceremonial ground for a brand new junior high campus.
It is just one of the projects to get underway thanks to a $42,000,000 bond package which passed, last year.
"We've got a great design for a great facility and we're looking forward to getting started, getting the project completed, and getting the students into the classrooms and the hallways, and practice fields and gymnasiums and band halls, so we're just excited," said Lindale ISD Superintendent Stan Surratt.
The new junior high is expected to open up August 1st, 2011.
