TYLER, TX (KLTV) - TYLER, TX (KLTV) - You think after 17 years, they would get tired, but, Friday East Texans proved helping out never gets old.
Dozens of volunteer units scattered across East Texas for the United Way's Day of Caring, including a team from Best Buy in Tyler.
Each year, hundreds of folks pitch in to help out their East Texas neighbors and local-non profit organizations. The Best Buy team spent the day getting one senior's home ready for a new paint job.
"We just like to do a lot of things in the community because it gets us out of the store and it makes us feel good that we can help people," said Rachel Carroll, a volunteer.
Friday morning, volunteers got some much needed fuel before heading out for their day's work. The call went out for more than 400 volunteers.
