Temperatures this weekend will climb into the upper 90s as a strong ridge of high pressure builds in the upper levels of the atmosphere, giving us mostly sunny skies. Sunday looks to be the hottest day with some locations possibly topping the century mark of 100 degrees!
Factor in the humidity and our heat index, or "feels like" temperature will be in the 100-105 degree range during the afternoon hours.
Please be cautious this weekend with any outdoor activities you have. Remember your heat safety tips: take plenty of breaks, stay hydrated, seek shade and don't forget your sunscreen.
Temperatures look to stay in the upper 90s through much of next week, with rain chance very slim.
