A significant Meth bust in Smith County lands two people in jail. Around 8:30 Monday night, the SWAT team entered a home on FM 344 south of Whitehouse. The home is about a mile west of Highway 110. After executing a search warrant, 15 to 20 pounds, of what authorities believe is methampetamine was discovered.
A 34 year old male and 30 year old female are in custody. Investigators say, if this is what they think it is, the drugs would be worth three-quarters of a million dollars on the street.
