TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

Released by the Tyler ISD:

TYLER, TX - On May 9, 2010, at approximately 7 a.m. two unknown suspects entered Boulter Middle School located at 2926 Garden Valley Road. The suspects gathered items to be stolen; however, they activated the burglary alarm system. Tyler Police Department arrived on the scene and the suspects fled leaving the property behind. The surveillance pictures shows the two suspects.

"Evidently they saw Tyler PD when they pulled up and they ran out the back door into the woods before Tyler PD could apprehend them, but we did get good video surveillance of them so what we're asking is for the public to look at the video and if they recognize these suspects give CrimeStoppers a call," said Rex Brown, the TISD Police Chief.

Tyler ISD police say those LCD projectors cost around $700-$1,000 a piece. Fortunately, the suspects did not get away with those, but they did cause other damage by breaking classroom windows to get in.

Anyone who knows their identity is asked to call Smith County CrimeStoppers at 903-597-2833.
