ANDERSON COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - A freak accident is being blamed for the death of a Texas Parks and Wildlife worker.
Biologist Wesley Littrell was killed after apparently getting caught under a brush hog mower.
Anderson County sheriff's deputies responded to the call around 2:30 p.m. at the Gus Engeling Wildlife Management area - that's off Highway 287 near Palestine.
Authorities say Littrell was probably getting on the tractor and may have accidentally put the mower in gear.
The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is investigating the accident.
We are told Littrell and his wife were expecting their first child.
