Older Generation Taking to Motorcycles

When you think of bikers you may think of the tough rugged exterior of young and wild free spirits. But older Americans now make up the majority of licensed motorcycle riders. Some are grandparents sporting leathers. For many it's a passion from their youth and something they are getting back into. D.P.S statistics show the average age of motorcycle riders is now late 30s. And dealerships like Longview's Harley-Davidson say their average customer is mid-40s. So what is the allure?  Why are so many mature Americans choosing two wheels over four? Many feel its a fountain of youth.  Keeping them young at heart. The days of the scary biker gangs may well be gone.
