Gilmer Man Sentenced for Father's Murder

A Gilmer man will spend the next thirty-five years in jail for killing his disabled father. 22 year old Paul James Noble was found guilty of shooting his father Ricky Noble and then dumping his body in a creek on the Upshur- Gregg county line. A 3 man 9 woman jury found him guilty of murder on April 17th. He was sentenced Thursday to 35 years in prison. Paul Noble's attorney plans to appeal the conviction.
