SMITH COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

SMITH COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - Last month, Smith County Constable, Henry Jackson, was cleared of any wrong doing in a civil sexual harassment suit.

A former employee of Jackson's private security company claimed the constable caused her "emotional distress."

The court said the evidence just was not there.

Meanwhile, the fate of Jackson's peace officer license remains in the hands of an administrative law judge.

Jackson was sentenced to probation after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor tampering charge and a charge of assault in 2008.
