Rescue Mission Holds Easter Dinner

For Christians it is the most meaningful of days.

Easter is a time for food and family, but in Longview the Highway 80 Rescue Mission opened its doors to those in need.

The center bussed people in from all over East Texas for a Easter dinner and a traditional message of hope which was not lost on the visitors.

The mission served over 100 people, the old, the young and all those in need.

Volunteers helped by preparing a big Easter meal. Some suffer mental illness and just need a friend.

More important there was a message of hope that one day there will be no more suffering, no more need, no more loneliness in what Christians look forward to on this day.
