Teen Killing Confession Ruled Evidence

A teenage girl has confessed to robbing and killing two convenience store clerks last August, and now a Longview judge has ruled to accept that confession into evidence.

17 year old Barbara Elaine Jeffery and her 24 year old boyfriend are both charged with robbery and capitol murder. The pair is accused of holding up three convenience stores in Gladewater and Longview.  Prosecutors cannot seek the death penalty against Jeffery because she was 16 at the time of the killings, but she faces life in prison if convicted in her upcoming April 28th trial.
