Dolphins GM apologizes to Dez Bryant

Miami Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland apologized Tuesday to Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant.  When interviewing Bryant before the N.F.L. Draft, Ireland asked Bryant if his mother was a prostitute. Bryant came from a troubled home and his mother had spent time in prison during his childhood.  Bryant ultimately was taken by the Cowboys in the draft as the 24th overall pick.   He was upset with the question from Ireland, but calmly told Ireland that his mother was not a prostitute.

Many former players and executives were outraged by the report.  Some believe teams should be able to ask whatever they want, when paying millions of dollars to athletes. Is Ireland's apology enough? Leave your thoughts in the comments section below.
