TYLER, TX (KLTV) - Blanca is a girl with a bubbly personality that is sure to make any family smile. Making her way through the pressures of middle school, she is looking for a forever family to show her the gift of love.

Blanca, 12, is fun, outgoing and is pretty good at putt-putt too! She was all smiles when we met up for a game on a sunny afternoon. Blanca loves being the center of attention. She also likes movies and video games. The sixth grader is involved in Girl Scouts and church youth group activities.

"I play board games and I love to write stories about my life and stuff and what I've been going through," said Blanca.

When she is not journaling about her life experience, Blanca loves to go shopping and eat at McDonald's.

She also likes pizza and nachos with jalapenos. Her favorite food is Chinese food.

Blanca is a bright girl who strives to do well at school and really excels in reading and math. When it comes to her aspirations, she is definitely a girl that loves fashion.

"I like to draw - pretend like I'm doing fashion and do models and stuff like that...draw people," said Blanca.

She also loves animals and thinks it would be cool to be a veterinarian when she grows up.

"I love dogs...and pets and stuff," said Blanca. "I love playing with little brothers or little sisters. I love babies!"

Blanca would love to be a part of a big family.

"I like to go on vacations or do trips or something," she said. "For my birthday, I'd like to go to the skating rink. I've never been to one. I'd love to go to the bowling alley or something."

Blanca still keeps in contact with her older brother and aunt who live out of state. It is extremely important to her to maintain these relationships.

"I'm very nice and sweet and I sometimes can act up but I'm not that bad," said Blanca.

She struggles with expressing her feelings. She has a strong need to feel loved and accepted regardless of her behavior. She is often calmed down when she is reassured that she has love and support - something she hopes to find in her forever family - experienced and committed parents who can show her the gift of love.
