Released by the City of Tyler:
TYLER, TX - The City of Tyler Parks and Recreation Department has rescheduled the Arts and Crafts Fair that was recently rained out. The new dates for the Fair will be April 24 and 25 at Bergfeld Park.
"We are so pleased that we are able to reschedule this popular event," commented Parks Director Stephanie Rollings. "We had a record breaking number of vendors for the event and want to give them all a chance to come back when the weather is better. "
Because of busy schedules during the spring months, the March of Dimes graciously agreed to allow the Arts and Crafts Fair to share the park to accommodate the event. On April 24, the March for Babies also will be held in Bergfeld Park. The event supports the March of Dimes' work of helping moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives.
"Our heartfelt thanks go out to the March of Dimes for allowing us to join them at Bergfeld Park on April 24," added Rollings. "This will be a wonderful weekend in the Park with lots to see and do."
The Arts and Crafts show is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 24 and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 25.
More than 100 vendors will offer handmade items such as pottery, clothing, jewelry, candles, floral arrangements, woodcrafts, oil paintings, and much, much more. Items will be on display for your enjoyment. Admission is free.
