LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - The number of explosive devices found in East Texas has now jumped well above a dozen. There are so many, that the ATF does not have an exact number to release.

Investigators are now focused on getting information to you to help find whoever is responsible. Federal authorities are working on a profile they may be able to release to the public soon. This is not a sketch but a possible profile of the type of person who may be doing this. Right now, their tips have not really panned out and they need you to be on the look-out.

As with the others, the pipe bombs found Tuesday along Judson Road in Longview and near Lake Cherokee were detonated and the pieces sent off to a California lab for analysis.

The ATF says if any of the pipe bombs were to explode, they would cause considerable damage to anything nearby.

"Anything close by would be affected," said Tom Crowley, with ATF. "And, again it's going to depend on how much gunpowder is in there, how compressed it is."

"Should he decide that he does want to harm someone, we obviously want to catch him before," said Amanda McMurrey, with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service. "If anybody has any information they really need to come forward."

They say somebody out there knows something or has at least has a suspicion of someone.

The reward has been raised from $10,000 to $25,000 to anyone who can help lead to an arrest in this case.
