Have an outstanding warrant for traffic fines in Marshall? Watch out!

MARSHALL, TX - The Marshall Police Department, in conjunction with the City Marshal's Office and the Marshall Municipal Court, is announcing plans for a sweep for persons with warrants for Class C Misdemeanors and Outstanding Traffic Tickets pending in the city court.

Beginning March 15, 2010, a task force of officers from the Marshall Police Department and the City Marshal's Office will begin arresting wanted defendants at their residence, places of employment or other public venues.

Anyone concerned that they may have a warrant should contact the City of Marshall Municipal Court (903)935-4535 Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. The court staff will be able to answer questions about whether or not you have a warrant and also your options of how to clear the warrant. A list of outstanding warrants is also posted on the City of Marshall website and may be viewed by logging on to www.marshalltexas.net.

There are still many outstanding warrants. Please take the opportunity to contact the court and make arrangements to satisfy the warrant without having to be arrested.
