One car chase leads to another and a suspect with a broken leg

TITUS COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - Some East Texas officers were treated to a wild night. What started as a drug bust, led to a car chase that came to a crashing end and the suspect running away on a broken leg.

Around 9pm Thursday on Interstate 30, in Titus County, state troopers pulled over a car for failing to signal a lane change. The driver was arrested after packages of marijuana were found in the car. As troopers were working, they say, a second car pulled up. A suspect got out and stole the car with the pot inside. That driver took off, but later crashed into a tree and tried to run away on that broken leg.
