EAST TEXAS (KLTV) - Brace yourselves! Extreme Makeover: Home Edition East Texas is just hours away from changing an East Texas family's life forever. They will be surprised Thursday.

The design and build teams have been running around non-stop, getting the last details in place. But, the Extreme team needs your help. Thanks to your generosity, electrical and drywall needs have been met in just the past day, but more folks are needed.

"From the design side we need closets, cabinet makers, we need laptops we need plexiglass we need a toy store to get involved," said Darrin Bryan, an Extreme team member. "On the build teams we're still looking for RV's on site."

But, they have no doubt it will all come together - even as we're down to the wire.

It is less than 24 hours until they surprise a very deserving East Texas family and we still don't even know who they are or where they live, but you can bet we will be there first thing in the morning to reveal the big surprise to you.

"Ty Pennington will basically pull up on the bus and of course the family isn't notified until tomorrow morning," explained Bryan.

A team will immediately start packing and hauling everything out of the house Thursday, and it will be demolished Friday.

After we introduce you to the family, they will head out on vacation while thousands of workers volunteer day and night for one week, making their dream come true.

"Where everybody can hug each other, come together as a community and know that we're able to show America the heart and soul of East Texas," said Bryan.

As soon as the family is revealed in the morning, we will break the news to you on KLTV.com and carry a LIVE report from their home on East Texas News Midday. KLTV 7 will be there every step of the way through this process, with LIVE reports and complete coverage.

If you would like to get involved, click here. Look for the "Urgent needs" button. When you click it, it will take you to a site with a list of what the Extreme Makeover team needs!
