Smith County, TX (KLTV)- Detailed information on what led investigators to 21-year-old Daniel McAllister and 19-year-old Jason Bourque was released late Monday afternoon.

In search warrants filed in Smith County, investigators say they decided to reopen the investigation into the fire at Little Hope Baptist Church in Canton after finding a message carved into a restroom at Atwood's Ranch and Home Store. The message read, "Little Hope was Arson." The same day the message was found surveillance video capture Bourque walking to the store's restroom.

The January 1 fire at Little Hope had first been ruled as accidental.

The search warrant also reveals that guitars stolen from Lake Athens Baptist Church, which burned on January 12 had once been in McAllister's possession.

In the course of the burglary and arson investigation at Fellowship of Prairie Creek in Lindale investigators determined that DNA found on a brick used to break into the church matched DNA left on a rock found at the scene of the Russell United Methodist Church in Wills Point.

McAllister and Bourque were arraigned Monday morning, both are charged with one count of arson and are being held on a $10M bond.

Although the men are only charged with one fire investigators say they are certain the people responsible for all 10 east Texas church fires.
