LONGVIEW TX, (KLTV) -An East Texas community put in some hard work, sweat, and tears of joy this weekend.

"Habitat for Humanity" kicked off it's 2010 'Women's Build Project' in Longview.

Brandon Freeman and Tanya Hartstock will be the proud Habitat homeowners of the soon to be build four- bedroom home.

Nearly 50 volunteers rolled up their sleeves Saturday to help build the home's walls, and the family can't wait to their new home is finished.

"It's incredible to finally be able to have a house where we can fit all of our kids in. We have five kids and we have a three bedroom house, so we have four kids in one room. It's going to be great for them to have their own space," said future Habitat homeowner, Tanya Hartsock.

"It's wonderful to be able to give back to the community. We're helping this family get a home that maybe has never had a home", said 'Women's Build volunteer' Debbie Sadler, with the Zonta Club of Longview.

The family's home is expected to finished and ready for move-in by July.
