North Texas troops are being honored in a prayer grove at an Arlington, Texas church. It's being called, "Operation Prayer Defense."
Organizers at the High Point Church say it's a way to protect the home front and those on the front lines. Each of the more than 12-hundred American flags represents a North Texan serving in the war. Relatives of service men and women are being encouraged to come to the grove and add more flags. A pastor at the church says "Operation Prayer Defense" is already having a positive impact.
Prayer services are being held at the grove, three times a day.
