LONGVIEW, TX - Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG), a global leader in relationship management, will host a Job Fair to fill 100 full-time customer service and sales positions at its contact center in Longview.  

Potential employees are invited to apply from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, February 16 at the Convergys contact center, located at 2345 Judson Road.  New employees will provide customer service and sales support for a Convergys client in the telecommunications industry.  

"As our local and national economies begin to recover from the recession, these positions with a global leader in relationship management will provide an excellent opportunity for some Longview job seekers," said James Robinson, site leader for the Convergys contact center in Longview.  "And, because we are a global company, there also are opportunities for career growth and development."

Convergys offers employees comprehensive training, competitive wages plus incentives, and benefits including tuition reimbursement, 401(k) and paid and unpaid time off.  Successful candidates will receive nine weeks of paid training.  The contact center's hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends, with both weekday and weekend shifts available.

Potential candidates should possess solid customer service experience, strong computer skills, and the ability to work flexible hours.
