Tyler City Manager To Retire April 30th

Today, Pinkney Butler announced his retirement as Tyler's City Manager. He says the timing to step down is good as a brand new city council and budget both get underway, "Digging deep in my heart," Bulter says, "I know I probably don't have the heat to go another five years and it's not a job in my judgement that you do year by year or month by month--it's the big picture."

His last day is April 30th. Not sure what the future holds, Mr. Butler says his plans will include some type of service to the community. He's also working on his music; a new contemporary world album.
