Low-carb lasagna with Cooking Up a Storm's Grant

Grant's Low Carb Lasagna:

2 pounds ground beef

Olive Oil

1 onion diced ¼"

1 small container button mushrooms cut into quarters

Garlic salt



Low carb spaghetti sauce

Mozzarella Cheese role:

Brown your ground beef with a tablespoon of garlic salt, a tablespoon of oregano, and a tablespoon of basil.   Once cooked drain and set aside.

In a skillet place 2 table spoons of olive oil and cook your diced onions and quartered mushrooms over medium high heat.  Cook until onions are transparent, about 8 minutes.

Take you cooked ground beef and onion, mushroom mixture and mix in a pan with your spaghetti sauce.  Take half of this mixture and place in a casserole dish.  Cover with a layer of mozzarella cheese.  Make another layer of meat mixture and top with another layer of mozzarella cheese.  Place in a preheated 350 degree oven and cook for about 15 minutes until the cheese on top melts.
