Marshall Suspects Arraigned for Murder

The two people arrested in connection with a double murder in Marshall Friday have been arraigned.

24 year old Derrick Jenkins and 23 year old Tiffany McCoy were officially charged with capital murder Saturday in Harrison county.

They're accused in the shooting deaths of 2 women.

Late Thursday police were called to a convenience store on Highway 80 where 2 female clerks, both 20 years old, had been shot to death in a back room.

Witnesses say a man and woman were seen leaving the store. After an extensive search, the pair was captured just after 2:00 Friday.

Both Jenkins and McCoy are being held without bond. If convicted for capital murder they could face life in prison or the death penalty.
