Man hospitalized after bar fight

Released by the Longview PD:

On January 12, 2010 at around 12:01 a.m., Longview Officers were dispatched to J's Place at 1313 East Marshall Avenue for a report of an assault that had just occurred.

Officers arrived at the scene and found the victim, 31-year-old James Crisp of Longview, had been cut with a knife during a physical altercation and was bleeding severely. The Longview Fire Department/EMS transported Crisp to Good Shepherd Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Witnesses told investigating officers that Crisp had been playing pool inside the club when he got into a verbal argument with the two suspects. The argument quickly turned physical. During the fight, one of the suspects cut Crisp across the neck with a knife.

The suspects are described as:

1. Hispanic male, 5'01"-5'05" tall, 120-140 pounds, with a mustache and short black hair, wearing a white tank top.

2. Hispanic male, 5'10"-6'01" tall, 150 pounds, black t-shirt and jeans
