TYLER, TX (KLTV) - The NFL playoffs start this weekend, but the "Souper Bowl" kicked off Monday!
PATH kicked off its annual drive Monday, and they are asking people to donate soup between now and the "other" Super Bowl on February 7th.
PATH is asking businesses, schools, and churches to collect soup cans and help stock the pantry, because they say too many families are having to make decisions they should not have to.
"We've said this many times before, but it's such a reality: They choose between buying food and buying medication for themselves," said Becky Duncan, with Tyler PATH. "So if we can help in a small way with two sacks of groceries for a family, then that's what we want to do to help their burden."
You can take your donations to the PATH building on Front Street in Tyler, or if your business has a large donation, you can contact PATH to arrange to have it picked up when the drive ends.
