TYLER, TX (KLTV) - One person is seriously injured Tuesday night after a three-vehicle wreck. DPS says a pickup failed to stop at the intersection of Highway 31 and County Road 24 near Tyler. Troopers say that truck rear-ended another pickup, and an 18-wheeler turned over while trying to avoid the wreck.

Troopers are urging drivers to be cautious with this wet weather.

"Pay attention driving," said Trooper Barry Goines. "Stay off the cell phones. Pay attention to what you're doing. It's busy enough out here just maintaining control of your vehicle and watching out for the other guys."

Three people, including a 7-year-old were taken to the hospital.

We are told the driver of the red truck has life-threatening injuries. The other two are expected to be fine.
