KILGORE (KLTV)- A 46-year-old Kilgore woman is facing federal charges for allegedly stealing money from her employer.

Deborah Ogden Williams appeared in federal court to answer to four counts of mail fraud and five counts of wire fraud.

Prosecutors claim Williams, who worked as an office manager at K.K. Mobbs Construction in Kilgore, stole more than $600,000 from 1994 to February 2009.

Williams is accused of using company funds to pay personal debts, including a defaulted student loan.  The debts were allegedly paid with company checks, which included forged signatures.

Williams is also accused of opening an account at a home improvement store, in the company's name, and racking up a balance of near $93,000.

If convicted, Williams faces up to 20 years in federal prison.
